Professor Pedro Sauer is teaching a special class at Jon Garfield school this Monday August 2nd. I want to get as many people out to this class as possible to support the association. Jon’s website is www.garfieldbjj.com

The class will start at 6:30 pm. Afterwards I will be testing for my brown belt.

Baltimore Self Defense Academy

Last night the white belt class at Adornato Jiu-Jitsu were exposed to some standing self defense techniques. I believe this is what makes our academy different from the average Jiu-Jitsu school. We not only have phenomenal techniques from both the top and bottom on the ground but we also teach the standing self defense.

Every fight goes to the ground but they start on the feet.

I know this is how our founder Helio Gracie envisioned the art being taught. I also know this is how Pedro Sauer teaches. That is more then enough reason for me to learn it and pass it on to you.

Reisterstown MMA and Jiu-Jitsu instructor Steve Adornato attended a special class with Rickson Gracie this week at the new Pedro Sauer academy. Rickson was phenomenal as expected. There is an energy that he brings to class that cannot be matched. Not to mention his technique is as close to flawless as I will ever see on this earth. I look forward to adding the techniques that Rickson showed into the already great curriculum at Adornato Jiu-Jitsu in Reisterstown.

Gracie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes are now being offered by Steve Adornato in Reisterstown, MD. Steve is a 4th degree purple belt with 7 years experience under Professor Pedro Sauer and Jon Garfield.
