Self Defense, Jiu-Jitsu taught last night in Reisterstown
Last night the white belt class at Adornato Jiu-Jitsu were exposed to some standing self defense techniques. I believe this is what makes our academy different from the average Jiu-Jitsu school. We not only have phenomenal techniques from both the top and bottom on the ground but we also teach the standing self defense.
Every fight goes to the ground but they start on the feet.
I know this is how our founder Helio Gracie envisioned the art being taught. I also know this is how Pedro Sauer teaches. That is more then enough reason for me to learn it and pass it on to you.
