Steve says:

“I focus on Jiu-Jitsu for the streets. My belief is that Jiu-Jitsu tournaments while they are fun and a way to test your skills against others, do over time erode the self defense aspect of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. All of my techniques are taught from a self defense aspect.

I share Grandmaster Helio Gracie’s belief that a instructor should be judged by his least athletic student.

Jiu-Jitsu was designed for the weak to defeat the strong. We must never stray into techniques that rely on speed and strength.

I am very proud to represent Master Pedro Sauer and Jon Garfield and look forward to spreading Gracie Jiu-Jitsu throughout Maryland.”
